THE COST OF CLUTTER
THE DOWNFALL OF CLUTTER
It’s easy to feel like you’re alone and everyone else has it together, but I want you to know that that’s not the case!!! According to Sparefoot, over one-fourth of U.S. households have a clutter problem.

The other issue with clutter is the amount of wasted time spent on looking for lost items, which also causes frustration. A study was done that showed we spend at least 10 minutes a day searching for items, which adds up to 153 days over a lifetime. It also showed that four out of ten couples often fight over lost items.

Benefits of Getting Organized
When our homes become overrun with clutter, we can’t find what we’re looking for, and it always feels like we’re running behind, this is a signal that something needs to change.
Start to gain confidence and enjoy your living space. This leads to the feeling of accomplishment. Less stuff means fewer feelings of embarrassment, less stress in normal day-to-day activities and when having people over to visit.
Letting go of items leads to the release of guilt and attachment to unhealthy thoughts and behaviors. Decluttering allows for future thinking to pursue dreams.
Finding things quicker and keep things cleaner, helps save time and mental energy. Less distractions and less stress means more time for relationships and leisure activities.
